Consultant Dietitian (RD/RDN)

Pay, Schedule and Benefits

  • Pay Rate: $50 per hour.

  • Employment Type: Choice of Part-Time employment or Contract basis.

  • Schedule: 20 hours per week.

  • Shift: Daytime hours, 5 days per week.

Overview

Senior Care Health and Rehabilitation is a 144-bed facility in Wichita Falls. This role is designed for the clinician ready to advance their skillset under experienced leadership. We view the Dietitian as a partner and provide the autonomy necessary to drive outcomes for residents while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead nutritional care by performing assessments and developing interventions.

  • Manage enteral nutrition and specific dietary requirements for residents.

  • Collaborate with the Director of Food Services to ensure menu accuracy and diet compliance.

  • Audit kitchen and dining operations to maintain standards of safety and sanitation.

  • Mentor facility staff on the importance of therapeutic diets and clinical documentation.

  • Engage directly with residents and families to provide dietary education and counseling.

Qualifications

  • Credentials: Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).

  • Licensure: Active Texas Dietitian License.

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.

  • Experience: Previous experience in a nursing or rehabilitation environment is preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.
